In May 1995 we adopted the new version of the National Anthem.
It begins with the Nguni and Sotho versions of "Nkosi Sikele iAfrika", continues with the opening lines of "Die Stem van Suid-Afrika" which is Afrikaans, and ends with an excerpt from the English version of "The Call of South Africa".

& CORNELIS JACOB LANGENHOVEN (1873-1932) A famous white South African author who wrote a great number of songs for various schools, incuding my own in Kimberley, South Africa. Fondly known as CJ Langenhoven.
