Some images for my final photo assignment

I still have another four to take and will be doing that this weekend, but wWhat do you think so far? Input is most welcome as I'm submitting them to the university in two weeks' time.

Monday, April 16 and baby it's wet outside

And today it rained.

It rained so hard that the man-hole cover in the street in front of the newspaper actually lifted up (see photos).

I felt sorry for this guy on a bike. He must have been soaked to the skin. Thank goodness it wasn't that cold today.

A blog just for cats...

I'm thinking of having a blog dedicated just to cats.

I mean what's not to like about these hairy critters who never cease to amaze me with their agility, intelligence and sometimes down-right naughty streak?

Take this guy. Three years ago he was starving, homeless and pathetic to say the least. Today he weighs in at a hefty 6 pounds, is a house-cat like no other and enjoys nothing more than giving love, giving love and getting fed for it.

Talk about a trickster....

Some images from Boston

These images of Puss were shot with a Macro lens - which means I can now get very, very close up in personal with some of my "victims".

We just got back from our Easter weekend in Boston.

I bought two new lenses and was having some fun both there, and when we got back.

What do you think?

We spent the morning at the New England Aquarium so don't worry, I didn't take the plunge with my camera....

The people we meet

I thought it would be interesting to do a collage of some of the people I've met here in Bermuda. You will of course recognise Mark in one of these shots, but wanted to show the diversity of the people who come from far and wide. It truly is a cultural melting pot.
