A quiet dinner

Over the weekend we were invited to dinner at the Hind's home along Bermuda's North Shore.
Jennifer and Ian Hind live in this lovely 18th century cottage/converted condo style home which has been tastefully decorated to reflect both Jennifer and Ian's tastes.
The courtyard, where we enjoyed some early evening cocktails, was a wonderful and tranquil setting with just the soft sounds of a fountain, the quiet call of a tree-frog and the sweet perfume of flowers which abound in various containers.

The cottage is situated along the North Shore with beautiful views over the water of this quiet bay.
With its lovely white shutters as a backdrop to the beautiful lilies, the cottage reflects the laid-back lifestyle of the early settlers to the Island and is one of the more photographed, as well as painted cottages on the Island.

Melissa and Jennifer go in search of caterpillars which have made some Passion Flowers their home. These beautiful flowers - which we could not find a single flowering one - are so detailed that it is hard to believe sometimes that they are in fact very real and not the creation of an artist with a flair of detail.
